Comfy clothes on, a cuppa coffee in my hand and ready for a day of binge watching Netflix on my beautiful velvet sofa from Wayfair (Gifted). Quarantine or not, we had decided to refresh our living room furniture as soon as we moved into our new apartment in Charlotte earlier this year.
The search for our sofa was a long one but ended at the Wayfair website when I laid my eyes on this tufted Conrad velvet Chesterfield sofa. Honestly, it was love at first sight with the gorgeous pastel hue and the understated elegance of this piece. It comes in a variety of colors but I imagined the blush tone with all the other pieces in the room would really make the space come together.
We also had a rustic wooden coffee table that we absolutely loved coz it was sturdy and gave us all the vintage feels but this time around we were on the look out for something more elegant. I’m personally not a fan of glass tops so decided to go with Marble but the key was to get a piece that matches our aesthetic and is easy on the pocket at the same time. And Voila! We found this contemporary marble top coffee table on Wayfair. Plus, its a fabulous backdrop for those Instagram flatlays.
In the end, to bring the place to life, we decide to go green and added a lot of living plants around the house. Like this cute hanging planter from Wayfair. Now waiting for our English Ivy to tumble over its edges and make the space even prettier.
