Tourist in my City: Part I

Boston has been my home for about 7 years now and there’s no denying I have a love hate relationship with this city. Love the vibe, the history and all the seasons but one, hate the harsh New England winters. So, I finally decided to share some of my favourite spots around the city with you guys. It will be a series of posts ‘cos to fit everything in one would’ve been difficult.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

This beautiful art museum made to look like a Venetian palace with a courtyard that gives you indoor garden goals is one of the most instagrammable spots here in Boston. This three storeyed structure is lined with art, tapestries, luxurious vintage furniture and sculptures, all that belonged to Isabella Stewart Gardner including a chapel on the third floor.

Walking through the corridor you feel the grandeur and opulence it exudes. Unlike other museums I have been to, here its not only about the art but also the elegant decor surrounding it that is worth admiring.

I wore this Zara floral midi dress to match the vintage vibes of this place. Added a skinny belt to the elastic waist and paired it with kitten heeled pumps and a bordeaux bag. This dress is sold out so linked similar styles below.

Thank you for reading!
