Talking about some comfortable winter style here. There’s something about winter that makes me wanna bundle up in comfy clothes whether I’m lounging around the house or stepping out for some errands. What do you do when you’re stuck at home in sub zero weather and have some ripe bananas on hand? Bake some delicious Banana walnut bread! Although I’m not much of a baker but this recipe from miacooks.com seemed simple enough to give it a try. I must say for a first time baker, the bread came out really nice and had a moist cake like texture as advertised in the recipe.
On our weekend getaway to Scottsdale, a winter escape from the cool temps of Northeast, we took a day trip to the Red Rock State Park in Sedona. We enjoyed the scenic drive winding around hills full of cacti ending up at the towering rock structures on the Red Rock Scenic Byway.
