Atlanta city guide: Cool spots to know

Hello Hello! Some of you may know we recently moved to Charlotte from Boston and we aren’t wasting any time in exploring the South. We picked out Atlanta coz of 3 reasons: Road trip, good food and cool spots to snap those picture perfect shots.

Ponce City Market

One of my favorite things to do when I’m traveling to a city is exploring the food scene and finding cute Instagrammable spots . So follow along to checkout some of my favorite places from our ATL weekend getaway.

Bread and Butterfly

Being a foodie, let me start with this brunch spot in Atlanta’s Inman Park exuding Parisienne charm. It satisfied our souls with its delicious creamy Tomato soup that came topped with a buttery puff pastry and the quiche du jour. We did have to wait about 20 mins to get a spot but totally worth it!

Made with Soul in Atlanta

This neon sign at Switchyards in downtown Atlanta is my personal favorite. Right next to it is a cool mural that says ‘Atlanta isn’t perfect’. While you’re here you can checkout the nearby SkyView Ferris wheel as well.

Street Art

Atlanta has beautiful street art all across the city. Music room boom box, Atlanta humane city sign, Paris on ponce.

Ponce City Market

This shopping and dining hot spot houses some of the best food options be it Indian street food at Botiwalla, Cauliflower tacos at Minero or drool worthy Kronuts at Five Daughters Bakery (my favorite is the seasonal flavor Lucy’s Lemonade) .

Riding electric bikes on the Beltline

A great initiative by the city to connect all the neighborhoods of the city. You can walk or ride a bike/electric bike, admire the ever changing murals along the way, stop by Ponce City Market or Krog Street Market and visit Piedmont park.

Shopping and eating combined.
